Psychiatry

The Medical specialty is concerned with the study, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of behavioral disorders.

The Problems that take people to psychiatrists for treatment are of 2 kinds: those that seem to have their origins largely in the remote past of patients’ lives and those that seem to arise largely from the patient’s conscious control. However, current external stresses may occur in combination with order problems, and some patients who have old but still active and unsolved problems may arrange their lives in such a heavy that they appear to be a victim of current life situations. The relationship between emotional and psychological factors and various medical disorders has attracted increasing attention. It is more well-recognized that psychological factors have considerable influence on the causation of certain stress-related medical disorders. Physicians and surgeons have also been uneasy that many patients under their care have considerable psychiatric symptoms as also psychological problems that are linked to their physical disorders. Thus evolved, the concept of a partnership between physicians and the psychiatrist in helping patients with medical and surgical conditions in which psychological factors play an important role.

Psychiatric services are provided to both outpatients and inpatients under the care of the best psychiatrists in Bangalore.
