• Dr. Vinay Vijaya Kumar is a highly accomplished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with extensive experience in academic, clinical, and research settings.

• Throughout his career, Dr. Vijaya Kumar has held several prestigious appointments and leadership positions, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the field of dentistry and maxillofacial surgery.

• Dr. Vijaya Kumar currently serves as the Head of the Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry at Vydehi Superspeciality Hospital since February 2023.

• Prior to this role, he was the Founding Associate at the Institutes of Implantology Bangalore in 2022.
• Dr. Vijaya Kumar has also held positions such as Director at the Oral Rehabilitation Center in Bangalore, Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences, Bengaluru, and Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Center in Bangalore.

• His international experience includes serving as a Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Uppsala University Hospital in Sweden and as Adjunct Faculty at various institutions in Europe.

• Dr. Vijaya Kumar has demonstrated leadership in academia and professional organisations. He has completed the Academic Teachers Training Course for Docent at Uppsala University and is a candidate for the CMF European faculty since 2019.

• He serves as an AO PEER teaching faculty and examiner for Membership in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
