Dr. Anita Josprakash is a highly skilled Consultant Anaesthesiologist with expertise in perioperative medicine, critical care, pain management, and emergency resuscitation. She completed her MD in Anaesthesiology from Jubilee Mission Medical College & Research Institute, Thrissur, and is a Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) rank holder. With extensive experience in administering anaesthesia for complex surgical procedures, she is dedicated to ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal surgical outcomes.
Her clinical expertise includes general and regional anaesthesia, difficult airway management, ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, labour analgesia, paediatric anaesthesia, neuroanaesthesia, cardiac anaesthesia, and critical care. Dr. Anita believes in providing compassionate, evidence-based care while working closely with surgeons, physicians, and critical care teams to deliver the highest standards of perioperative care.
Dr. Anita Josprakash has over four years of clinical experience in anaesthesiology, critical care, and emergency medicine. During her residency at Jubilee Mission Medical College & Research Institute, she actively participated in more than 3,000 surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, oncology, paediatric surgery, orthopaedics, general surgery, obstetrics, and vascular surgery.
She has extensive experience in pre-anaesthetic evaluation, intraoperative anaesthesia management, postoperative pain control, intensive care management, ventilator support, ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia, and non-operating room anaesthesia (NORA). She has also served as a first responder for Code Blue and paediatric emergency teams, contributed to NABH quality improvement initiatives, and trained healthcare professionals in Basic Life Support (BLS) and emergency response protocols.
Dr. Anita Josprakash earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, under Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS). She subsequently completed her Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Anaesthesiology from Jubilee Mission Medical College & Research Institute, Thrissur.
Throughout her academic career, she demonstrated exceptional clinical and academic excellence, graduating as a KUHS rank holder. She has further enhanced her professional knowledge through certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Biomedical Research, Medical Ethics, and multiple Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs in regional anaesthesia, critical care, pain management, and perioperative medicine.
