Key Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment & Monitoring:
Continuously monitor vital signs (heart rate, BP, O2 levels) and subtle changes in critically ill patients, documenting everything meticulously.
Administer medications (IV, oral, etc.), fluids, and treatments as ordered, managing drips and complex equipment like ventilators.
Develop, implement, and execute personalized care plans in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
Respond quickly and calmly to medical emergencies, coordinating resuscitation efforts and alerting the healthcare team.
Work closely with doctors, therapists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Communicate complex information to families, provide emotional support, and educate them on recovery.
Proficiently use and maintain complex medical equipment, identifying malfunctions.
Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed patient records.
